Internal Medicine Physician

Job Description:

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian  Internal Medicine, Family Practice, or Hospitalist at the  Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Battle Creek, Michigan. The Physician is responsible for the total inpatient population of medical patients, community living center residents and medical outpatients who present to the hospital seeking care. When the nursing staff contacts the Physician regarding a patient, it shall be the Physicians responsibility to determine whether the patient needs to be seen or not. The Physician has the authority to admit, treat, discharge or refer patients in accordance with his/her clinical privileges.

Job Requirements:

The Position will have the following requirements:

•  Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
•  Any State License
•  BLS and ACLS
