About Primary Care Services

Primary care serves as the foundation for patients' everyday healthcare needs, offering a comprehensive and continuous approach to care. The system's primary care network includes both Family Medicine and Internal Medicine providers who are dedicated to building long-term relationships with their patients.

Internal Medicine physicians are specially trained to provide comprehensive care for adults aged 18 and older, managing everything from preventive care to complex chronic conditions.

Providers practice within a collaborative, team-based model that emphasizes personalized care. In addition to physicians, the integrated care team includes care coordinators, behavioral health specialists, educators, and medical specialists—ensuring patients receive coordinated, efficient, and high-quality care at every stage.

Position Summary

The provider will deliver high-quality medical care under the direction of the Medical Director or designee. Responsibilities include patient evaluation, diagnosis and treatment, care planning, and ongoing medical management. Additional duties include writing orders and prescriptions, coordinating referrals, participating in clinical team discussions, and maintaining effective communication with patients, staff, employers, insurance representatives, and legal entities as appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited U.S. MD or DO program
  • Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
  • Active Colorado Medical License (or ability to obtain)
  • Active Colorado DEA license (or ability to obtain)
