About the Role:

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive outpatient care to adult patients, focusing on preventive health and chronic disease management.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history taking and physical examinations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care for patients.
• Utilize electronic health records (EHR) for accurate documentation and patient management.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Stay current with medical advancements and best practices in internal medicine.

Requirements:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine is required.
• Valid New York State medical license and DEA registration.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in outpatient internal medicine preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficient in using EHR systems for patient documentation and management.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
