Job description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Internal Medicine Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of adult medicine, demonstrating expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions. This role requires a commitment to patient care, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and an emphasis on evidence-based practices. As an Internal Medicine Physician, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing patient health outcomes through thorough assessments and tailored treatment plans.
Responsibilities


  • Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and detailed patient assessments to identify health concerns.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical evaluations and patient needs.

  • Manage chronic diseases and acute illnesses, ensuring continuity of care through follow-up appointments.

  • Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records.

  • Collaborate with specialists in areas such as cardiology, endocrinology, and gastroenterology to provide integrated care.

  • Perform diagnostic procedures, including but not limited to catheterization and medical imaging evaluations.

  • Educate patients on preventive care, health management strategies, and lifestyle modifications to promote overall wellness.

  • Participate in clinical research initiatives aimed at advancing medical knowledge and improving patient care practices.

Requirements

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution with board certification in Internal Medicine.

  • Proven experience in a clinical setting with a strong focus on inpatient and outpatient care.

  • Proficiency in EHR systems, particularly Epic, along with familiarity with EMR systems for effective patient management.

  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, diagnostic procedures, and treatment modalities across various specialties including psychiatry, dermatology, and critical care.

  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

  • Ability to perform essential procedures such as suturing, IV infusion, airway management, and wound care.

  • Commitment to adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
