Family Medicine with Obstetrics | Broad Scope Practice in Beautiful Sitka, AK

SEARHC is seeking a board-certified Family Medicine with Obstetrics physician to provide outpatient primary care in Sitka, Alaska. In this role, you will provide comprehensive outpatient health care services for patients, including obstetrics and pediatric services at Bartlett Regional Hospital (BRH). You will also participate actively as a medical staff member of both SEARHC and BRH.

Position Details:

• Full-time position
• Monday to Friday schedule with some weekend clinic coverage; telemedicine included and 4 hours of administrative time
• Provide high-quality, evidence-based primary care across the full spectrum of family medicine, including pediatric care, obstetrical care and deliveries, while serving patients in clinic and community-based settings such as long-term care facilities, the Pioneer Home, schools and patient homes as needed
• Call Schedule: once monthly, 7-day block, participates in shared non-surgical obstetrics call rotation with 24/7 surgical obstetrics backup and 24/7 anesthesia coverage
• Procedures include treadmill tests, Arthrocentesis, colposcopy, IND, Nexplanon, biopsies, toenail removal, joint injections, OMT welcomed, circumcision, average of 10+ deliveries per year, vasectomies are welcomed, NRP, medevac and coordinating care with NICU and MFMs

Compensation & Benefits:

• Guaranteed starting salary: $263,764 - $293,071

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Must be board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine (MD/DO)
• 2 years of managing OB and inpatient pediatrics experience is required; 4 years preferred
• New graduates are welcome to apply
• BLS, ACLS, ALSO, NRP certifications are required; PALS is encouraged
