CDL Class A/B Driver - Local Container Delivery
Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per Hour | Home Every Night
We are seeking professional CDL Class A or Class B Drivers to deliver storage containers to residential and commercial customers. This is a local position with drivers home every night. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, customer-service oriented, and understands that they are the face of the company.
Schedule
Monday through Friday
10-12 hour workdays
Some Saturdays required as needed to meet customer demand
Home every night
Training & Probation
All drivers will complete 1-2 weeks of specialized training and will be placed on a 90-day probationary period. Performance will be evaluated based on safety, attendance, professionalism, customer service, reliability, and overall job performance.
Compensation within the $23.00-$25.00 per hour range will be determined by experience, qualifications, and performance during the probationary period. Additional opportunities for growth may be available for high-performing drivers.
Responsibilities
Safely operate company vehicles and equipment
Deliver storage containers to customers
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Secure loads properly before transport
Follow all DOT and company safety regulations
Provide excellent customer service
Complete required paperwork and documentation
Assess delivery sites for safe container placement
Resolve delivery challenges professionally and safely
Drivers may work solo or as part of a two-driver team, where driving responsibilities are shared throughout the day.
Facility & Delivery Process
Containers are staged outside the warehouse and ready for pickup
A forklift operator loads each truck
Drivers secure the load and depart for delivery
Drivers are not required to enter the warehouse
Facility tour provided during onboarding
Qualifications
Valid CDL Class A or Class B License
Clean MVR
Must pass FMCSA Clearinghouse requirements
No preventable accidents
Strong work ethic and dependability
Professional appearance and attitude
Detail-oriented and safety-minded
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to diffuse customer concerns professionally
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Customer Service Expectations
Drivers interact directly with customers and must be able to professionally handle concerns, diffuse difficult situations, and explain delivery limitations when necessary. This includes situations involving steep hills, soft ground, tight access points, overhead obstacles, or other safety concerns. Drivers must be able to communicate why a container cannot be placed in a requested location and offer safe alternatives.
