Job Description: International AccountantSummary/ObjectiveThe International Accountant will be responsible for various accounting functions within our corporate accounting group. This position will be responsible for handling daily invoices, working with the international entities and supporting the international team with accounting functions.The International Accountant will report to the Corporate Controller and work closely with others in the accounting department.Essential FunctionsAccounting and reporting for multiple subsidiary entitiesReview and process international financial transactions and paymentsManage foreign exchange transactions and currency conversionsGather and translate financial statements of global entities into USD for consolidated reportingAnalyze and interpret international financial data and trendsAssist with the preparation of international tax returns and filingsCollaborate with foreign subsidiaries to streamline accounting processesMonitor and report on international account balances and discrepanciesProvide support for international budgeting and forecasting activitiesAssist in developing and implementing international accounting policies and proceduresHandle intercompany transactions and reconciliations between global entitiesPrepare and analyze financial metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) for international operationsSupport international financial planning and analysis initiativesParticipate in cross-functional projects involving international finance and operationsProcessing expense reports and dealing with fraudulent charges when necessaryStrong knowledge of Spanish tax lawAbility to compile data into Excel for analysisPerform other duties as assigned.Key SkillsTime ManagementAbility to analyze dataAbility to multitaskWell‑OrganizedAttention to DetailProficiency in Excel and WordSupervisory ResponsibilityNot applicable to this position.Classification/Expected Hours of EmploymentThis position is a full‑time position and is exempt from minimum wage and overtime pay requirements under federal and all applicable state or local laws.
