Tygart is seeking an International Affairs and Protocol Analyst to support a DOJ office in Washington DC. This role involves reviewing and prioritizing foreign engagement requests, preparing senior leadership briefing materials, coordinating meetings and conferences, and maintaining records related to foreign dignitary visits and bilateral exchanges. An active Top Secret/SCI security clearance is required.
Key Responsibilities, but not limited to:
International Engagement & Protocol Coordination: Review and analyze incoming requests for meetings between foreign delegations and personnel, determining appropriate scheduling based on meeting objectives, subject matter, and the rank of participating officials.
Organize, plan, and prioritize official meetings, events, and visits involving international partners and senior leadership.
Coordinate bilateral engagements and facilitate information exchanges between the Client and foreign partners.
Assist with planning and coordination of larger conferences and international engagement events.
Escort and support visiting foreign dignitaries while ensuring adherence to the Clients protocol standards.
Strategic Liaison & Relationship Management: Establish and maintain professional working relationships with personnel, other U.S. government agencies, and foreign embassy law enforcement and intelligence partners.
Serve as a liaison between operational divisions, Legal Attaché offices, and foreign delegations to ensure alignment of meeting objectives and the Clients priorities.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to facilitate training initiatives and collaborative exchanges with foreign partners.
Briefing Materials & Executive Support: Compile meeting agendas and prepare official briefing packages for senior leadership.
Analyze, interpret, edit, and coordinate briefing materials supplied by operational units to ensure accuracy, professionalism, and adherence to protocol standards.
Develop official documentation to prepare senior executives for meetings with foreign dignitaries.
Produce presentations and briefings for leadership outlining cross-programmatic and country-specific engagement activities.
Documentation, Reporting & Records Management: Draft comprehensive electronic communications outlining meeting purposes, topics, and alignment with threat priorities.
Document visiting delegation details and coordinate clearance processing with the Security Division.
Maintain records of foreign visitors accessing facilities, including topics discussed and follow-up actions for future reference.
Populate, review, edit, and finalize weekly engagement reports distributed across leadership and divisions.
Enter and maintain meeting information in official databases or SharePoint systems.
Administrative Protocol Support: Coordinate logistical elements of official visits, including meeting confirmations, agenda management, seating arrangements, and preparation of meeting materials.
Arrange protocol elements such as presentation gifts, table tents, and meeting refreshments when appropriate.
Ensure all meetings and engagements follow established protocol guidelines and professional standards.
