International Club gives students a place to learn from one another, share culture, and build connections across Lakeside High School. The advisor helps students turn their ideas into meaningful activities while keeping the work organized, thoughtful, and connected to school expectations.

Terms of Employment and Salary

As outlined by and in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement (CBA) of Nine Mile Falls Education Association (NMEA) and the Policies and Procedures of Nine Mile Falls School District. Stipend: $1,117 for the 2026-2027 school year, paid in accordance with the NMEA Collective Bargaining Agreement, Appendix B - Supplemental Salary Schedule.

Work Location: Lakeside High School

Position Reports To: Mike McCune

Nature and Scope of Job: (1 or 2 sentence summary of position)

Serve as advisor for the International Club at Lakeside High School. Must understand and/or is willing to receive training regarding ASB laws. Must be organized and willing to work with ASB, class officers, and administration regarding events and activities.

Contract Term: Continuing Replacement Supplemental

Employment Period: 2026/27 School Year

Primary Job Functions

  • Serves as the advisor and supervisor for International Club activities.
  • Helps students plan, schedule, and carry out club activities.
  • Works with ASB, school staff, administration, and community venues when needed.
  • Supports students in following ASB procedures, district expectations, and school activity guidelines.
  • Completes or participates in training related to ASB laws as needed.
  • Communicates with building administration regarding club plans, events, and student participation.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Requirements (Traits, Education, Certifications, Experience, Training, physical requirements, etc.)

  • Current Certificated staff member at Lakeside High School
  • Willingness to understand and follow ASB laws, procedures, and district activity requirements

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting student activities or student leadership.
  • Ability to guide students while allowing them appropriate ownership of club activities.
  • Organized and dependable with communication, scheduling, and follow-through.
  • Uses good judgment when working with students, staff, families, and community partners.
  • Enjoys working with students in a school activity setting.
