    Job Description

    The International Conference Planner SME leads planning and execution of SOF Week, the SCAF Conference, and other high-profile events, managing logistics, vendors, schedules, risks, stakeholder coordination, reporting, and security close-out duties. The role requires a bachelor’s degree, government or military experience, event or project leadership, and familiarity with Special Operations Forces.

    Summary of Duties

    Leads planning and execution of international conferences, coordinates stakeholders and logistics, manages risks and deliverables, oversees teams, evaluates outcomes, and supports security close-out.

    Duties

    • Develops and manages comprehensive event plans, milestones, and deadlines.
    • Coordinates schedules with internal teams, international partners, and stakeholders.
    • Oversees venue logistics, vendor contracts, and event-related services.
    • Leads cross-functional teams and monitors task progress and performance.
    • Communicates updates, addresses challenges, and manages stakeholder relationships.
    • Anticipates risks, develops contingencies, and aligns activities with event objectives.
    • Analyzes event outcomes, incorporates feedback, and reports insights for future planning.
