The role offers significant responsibility, meaningful client interaction, and strong long-term growth potential within a collaborative and high-performing team.Candidate ProfileJD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic recordActive Bar Admission in New York, in good standing4+ years of substantive labor and employment law experienceSubstantial experience handling employment litigation matters, including claims involving discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour violations, and trade secret misappropriationExperience managing the deposition process , including preparation and strategyProven ability to independently manage matters while collaborating effectively within a team environmentExperience overseeing the employment litigation lifecycle from discovery through trial , including drafting discovery motions, motions to dismiss, and motions for summary judgmentStrong background counseling employers on a broad range of employment issues, including employee discipline and termination, workplace policies, wage and hour compliance, restrictive covenants, employment agreements, internal investigations, and leave of absence mattersExceptional time management, written and verbal communication, research, and analytical skillsKey ResponsibilitiesRepresent employers in a wide range of employment litigation matters in state and federal courtsManage all phases of employment-related litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparationDraft and argue motions, including motions to dismiss and motions for summary judgmentConduct and prepare witnesses for depositions and hearingsCounsel clients on day-to-day employment law issues and compliance mattersWork closely with colleagues to deliver strategic, practical, and business-focused advice to clientsWhy Join Us?This opportunity offers the chance to join a premier Labor & Employment practice known for its depth, sophistication, and client-focused approach.
