The Impact You'll Make

As our International Sales Professional, you’ll be a global ambassador for Pacific Cheese. You’ll open doors to new markets, build lasting relationships with importers, distributors, and retailers, and ensure our cheeses are featured on menus, in stores, and at events worldwide. Your work will directly shape our international growth and help us bring the Pacific Cheese name to new audiences who value quality, flavor, and authenticity.

What You'll Do

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in key international markets for our cheese portfolio.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, specialty retailers, and foodservice partners.

• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and distribution agreements that balance profitability with long-term partnerships.

• Represent Pacific Cheese at international food fairs, trade shows, and culinary events (e.g., SIAL, Anuga, or Cheese Expo).

• Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and import regulations to inform strategy.

• Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely, compliant, and quality-assured deliveries.

What You'll Bring

• A proven track record of success in international food sales—experience in dairy or specialty foods is a strong plus.

• Deep understanding of export processes, food safety regulations, and international trade compliance.

• Strong cross-cultural communication skills and the ability to adapt to diverse business environments.

• Experience managing complex sales cycles and high-value negotiations.

• Proficiency in CRM tools and data-driven sales reporting.

• Fluency in English; additional languages (Portuguese, Spanish, Mandarin) are highly valued.

• A genuine passion for food and the ability to speak knowledgeably about cheese varieties, production, and pairing.

• Experiences in the Asia/Pacific or South American territories is highly preferred.

Why You'll Love It Here

• Competitive base salary plus bonus structure.

• International travel (25-50%) to meet clients, attend trade shows, and host tasting events.

• Competitive paid time off.

• Comprehensive health, dental and vision benefits. 401k, Voluntary Accident Plan, Employee Assistance Program, Flexible Spending Accounts and Life/Disability Insurances are available.

About the Company

P

Pacific Cheese Co.

In 1970 Ray and June Gaddis established Pacific Cheese Company, the West Coast’s first broadline cheese supplier. As industry pioneers, they were instrumental in the expansion of the California cheese industry and laid the groundwork for the company’s growth into one of the country’s leading suppliers of premier-quality, natural cheeses.
Today, a second generation of the Gaddis family oversees the company’s success and industry leadership.
