Rate Range: $22 - $24 per hour
Position Summary
The International Shipping Clerk supports a manufacturing machine shop by coordinating and processing domestic and international shipments of precision-machined parts. This role is responsible for accurate shipping documentation, ERP transactions in Epicor, and compliance with customer, carrier, and international trade requirements to ensure on-time delivery and quality standards are met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare and process international and domestic shipments for machined parts, tooling, and related materials.
Create, review, and maintain export documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and bills of lading.
Process shipments using Epicor ERP, including shipment transactions, inventory movements, and order verification.
Coordinate shipments with carriers and freight forwarders such as FedEx, UPS, DHL, and 3-way billing vendors.
Verify part numbers, revisions, quantities, and customer requirements against Epicor work orders and sales orders.
Ensure packaging and labeling meet customer specifications and international shipping regulations.
Track, trace, and update shipment status; communicate delays or issues to internal teams.
Resolve shipping discrepancies related to documentation, inventory, or carrier issues.
Maintain accurate shipping records to support audits, export compliance, and quality requirements.
Support receiving, packaging, or warehouse activities as needed in a machine shop environment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area in compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
2+ years of shipping experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
International shipping experience required.
Hands-on experience using Epicor ERP or similar manufacturing ERP systems.
Familiarity with export compliance, Incoterms, and international shipping documentation.
Experience working with FedEx, UPS, DHL, and freight forwarders.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and basic Excel.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 35lbs with or without accommodation.
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and climb short ladders or step stools to access materials stored at various heights.
Use of hands and fingers to handle, scan, label, and manipulate small parts and materials.
Ability to work in a manufacturing / machine shop environment with required PPE.
Flexible to train in other departments as needed.

Monday Friday, Day shift 7AM-3:30PM
