Our organization is on the lookout for a passionate and skilled board-certified Internal Medicine educator to enhance our ambulatory Internal Medicine academic practice. This role presents a unique chance to be part of a collaborative team that merges patient care with medical education and research.

• Contribute to a foundational practice within the Internal Medicine residency training program at Albany Medical College, which supports 54 residents, including 30 in continuity practice at our Internal Medicine Group.
• Work in a community-based, hospital-affiliated environment alongside 9 faculty members and 2 advanced practitioners dedicated to serving the greater Capital District of Albany, NY.
• Engage with medical students across all four years, as well as students from physician assistant and pharmacy programs.
• Collaborate with the Alden March Bioethics Institute, renowned for its emphasis on bioethics, while working closely with clinician educators.
• Benefit from the support of academic Hospitalist colleagues who manage inpatient admissions.

• A clinician-educator who is enthusiastic about integrating patient care with education and research.
• Experience in teaching primary care and evidence-based medicine at both graduate and undergraduate levels.
• A strong dedication to resident and student education, with responsibilities in continuity precepting and direct patient care.

Compensation & Benefits

• Attractive salary range: $191,000-$259,000.
• Faculty appointment and salary will be commensurate with training and experience.
