Internship - 2027 (Opportunities In Tax, Audit, Or Small Business)

Join our team through our Internship Program which will provide you with hands-on learning experience, interactive on the job training, and various networking opportunities.

We have the following opportunities for 2027:

• Spring Internship- Audit, Tax, and Small Business (minimum 20 hours per week)

• Summer Internship- Audit (32 hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Exposure to a variety of clients and engagement
• Networking with peers and team members at all levels
• Participation in team building exercises and community outreach activities
• Participation in continuous learning and leadership development workshops
• Collaboration with leadership to identify opportunities for efficiencies

Tax Internship:Various assignments consisting of organizing and uploading tax documents, reconciling tax data input and preparing business and individual tax returns, and projects relating to depreciation and fixed assets

Audit Internship: Combination of in-office and field work conducted at client locations, to include audit testing, preparation of confirmations and work papers, benefit plan, pension plan, asset and financial statement audits

Small Business Internship: Various assignments consisting of preparing tax returns both current and extended, entering and reviewing journal entries, preparing and reviewing financial statements, assisting with 1099 and W-2 preparation and other general accounting tasks as needed

Education, Experience and Certifications

• Currentlypursuing a Bachelor's or Master'sdegree inAccounting
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Desiretopursuethe CPA designationanda careerin professional services/public accounting

Essential Functions

• Regularly required to perform manual tasks, concentrate, think, learn, communicate, sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, grasp, handle or feel objects, reach with arms, talk and hear
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position as needed
• The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office and on site at client locations, stoop, kneel, crouch, push and pull
• Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
• Ability to communicate in a professional manner and exchange information with internal and external actors as needed
• Ability to lift/carry up to 20 pounds
• Ability to work outside of normal business hours and weekends as needed
• Ability to travel to local and non-local clients and events as needed, overnight travel may be required
