Description
Job Summary
The Intern will support daily operations within the assigned department by assisting with tasks, projects, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, allowing the intern to develop technical, analytical, and professional skills while contributing to IFAB’s operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the department team with day-to-day tasks and ongoing projects.
Collect, organize, and analyze data to support decision-making and process improvements.
Prepare reports, presentations, or documentation as required.
Support workflow coordination between departments when needed.
Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving efficiency and quality.
Assist in tracking KPIs, metrics, and general performance indicators.
Follow all IFAB safety rules, policies, and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned to support department goals.
Requirements
Education:
Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Associate degree program (Engineering, Business, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, HR, or related field).
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong interest in manufacturing and process improvement.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow instructions.
Positive attitude and proactive approach.
Work Environment
Manufacturing floor and office settings.
May require standing, walking, or lifting up to 25 lbs occasionally.
Standard Monday–Friday schedule; hours may vary based on school requirements.
