Internship Program at Tesla The Internship Recruiting Team is driven by the passion to recognize and develop emerging talent. Our year-round program places the best students in positions where they will grow technically, professionally, and personally through their experience working closely with their Manager, Mentor, and team. We provide an experience that allows the intern to experience life at Tesla by including them in projects that are critical to their teams success.

Multiple Locations Possible

  • Palo Alto, CA
  • Austin, TX
  • Reno, NV

Tesla is seeking highly motivated engineering students who thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to apply mechanical concepts to real-world projects. Interns on the battery team work directly with full-time engineers to design, prototype, test, and launch new parts and processes to improve our batteries. Every day we push the boundaries of what is possible for energy storage, both in vehicles and on the grid.
