Purpose
The Internship Program is designed to provide students and recent graduates with hands-on experience in the construction industry. The program aims to develop future professionals by offering practical learning opportunities, mentorship, and exposure to real-world projects.
Eligibility
Intern candidates must meet the following criteria:
• Be enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited college, university, or trade school with a relevant major (e.g., construction management, civil engineering, architecture, business administration). • Be at least 18 years old. • Have legal authorization to work in the United States. • Pass a background check and drug screening (if applicable).
Program Structure
Duration: Internships last between 8 weeks and 4 months, depending on project needs and academic requirements.
Schedule: Interns may work part-time or full-time, with hours determined based on department needs and school schedules.
Compensation: Interns will receive an hourly wage based on experience and department placement. Interns are not eligible for company benefits unless otherwise specified.
Departments: Interns may be placed in various departments, including project management, site operations, safety, estimating, and administration.
Responsibilities
Intern Responsibilities:
• Assist with tasks assigned by supervisors, including project documentation, site visits, and administrative work. • Follow company safety protocols and industry best practices. • Actively participate in training, meetings, and learning sessions. • Maintain professional conduct and confidentiality.
Company Responsibilities
• Provide interns with meaningful, educational work experiences. • Assign a mentor or supervisor for guidance and performance feedback. • Ensure a safe and inclusive work environment. • Offer career development opportunities.
Compliance & Policies
Interns must adhere to all company policies, including safety regulations, anti-discrimination policies, and professional conduct standards.
• A certificate of completion and/or a letter of recommendation may be provided based on performance. • The internship does not guarantee future employment with Reytec Construction Resources, Inc.
