This position is expected to start August or September 2026 and continue through fall term (ending approximately December 2026) or continuing into Winter/Spring 2027 if available and there is an opportunity to do so. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time (40 hours/week) and on-site, for most internships. Our internship program is for students who are actively enrolled in an academic program. Recent graduates seeking employment after graduation and not returning to school should apply for full-time positions, not internships.

Tesla is seeking a motivated and data-driven Marketing Fleet Intern to join our North America Business Operations and Analytics team. This is an internship designed for students or early-career professionals passionate about data, marketing, and sustainable energy innovation.
In this role, you'll play a key part in building and enhancing dashboards that power marketing fleet decisions, enabling deeper insights into demo drive performance, customer engagement, and conversion trends. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to transform raw fleet and sales data into actionable intelligence that directly influences how Tesla deploys and optimizes its marketing fleet across the Americas.
This internship offers hands-on experience with real-world business problems, advanced analytics tools, and high-impact projects that support Tesla's mission to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy through data-informed marketing strategies.
Design and develop interactive dashboards (using Tableau, Power BI, or similar) to track and visualize key metrics around demo drive activity, vehicle utilization, and conversion rates across regions and markets
Analyze demo drive sales behavior by segmenting data across time, location, vehicle model, and configuration to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimization
Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations teams to define KPIs and data requirements for fleet performance reporting, ensuring insights are aligned with business goals
Clean, structure, and validate large datasets from internal systems to ensure accuracy and reliability in reporting
Automate reporting workflows
Produce clear, concise visualizations and executive summaries to communicate findings to stakeholders and support strategic decision-making
Support the identification of underperforming markets or vehicles by analyzing demo drive utilization, cycle time, and conversion funnels
Contribute to the development of a centralized marketing fleet analytics framework that can scale with future growth and new product launches
Currently pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Marketing, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
Strong skills in SQL and/or Python for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
Experience with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros) and familiarity with data modeling concepts
A curiosity for data storytelling: you're not just analyzing numbers but turning them into compelling narratives
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams across marketing, sales, and operations
Passion for Tesla's mission and interest in sustainable transportation, automotive technology, or digital marketing innovation
