We're offering a unique internship program designed to immerse you in the heart of our operations, providing hands‑on experience and mentorship from seasoned professionals.Your Mission As an intern, you'll be more than just an observer. You'll be an integral part of our team, working alongside experienced Scouters to:Gain firsthand knowledge of the non‑profit sector and the impact of our programs.Hone your communication, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities.Assist with program development, fundraising initiatives, marketing campaigns, and more.Receive personalized mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals.Fulfill your high school, college, or university internship requirements (12‑16 weeks).What You'll Be Doing Collaborating with a professional Scouter for approximately 20 hours per week.Documenting your learning journey through weekly activity logs.Participating in mid‑term and final evaluations with your mentor.Attending meetings, training, and activities to explore diverse career paths within Scouting.Completing assigned projects and tasks.Becoming a member of Scouting America and upholding the Scout Oath and Law.Qualifications High School diploma, college students, recent graduates, or currently enrolled high school junior or senior.A genuine interest in the non‑profit sector and/or Scouting America.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Prior non‑profit experience or coursework in fundraising, management, or marketing (a plus!).Strong organizational, self‑motivation, and teamwork skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.A commitment to the values of the Scout Oath and Law.Schedule and hours are negotiable.Areas of Impact Explore diverse areas within our organization, including: Communications, Data Management, Business Administration, Education, Fundraising, Marketing, Philanthropy, Sales, Social Services, and Non‑Profit Administration.Your Reward $15.00 per hour.Invaluable experience in a dynamic non‑profit environment.Mentorship from experienced professionals.Opportunity to make a tangible difference in your community.A great addition to your college applications.Networking opportunities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
