JOB SUMMARY:

Help engineer the next generation of world-class attractions as a Ride Systems Engineering Intern with Universal Creative. In this role, you will collaborate with engineers, designers, and project partners to support the development of ride systems used across a wide range of themed entertainment experiences.

Through hands-on work, you will gain exposure to the engineering principles, industry standards, and technical processes that guide ride-system development. You will assist with the review and evaluation of ride designs, contribute to the development and refinement of engineering standards, and support new system strategy and innovation initiatives. Working across coaster, dark ride, family ride, thrill ride, and water ride projects, you will gain valuable insight into how multidisciplinary teams design, develop, and deliver safe, reliable, and innovative guest experiences. This internship offers an opportunity to build practical mechanical engineering and problem-solving skills while learning how cutting-edge ride technologies are brought to life.

Please note the following:

• This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices. 
• Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than August 2027. 
• Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.  
• All of our internships are paid, and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.
