The Water/Wastewater Practice is seeking a Water/Wastewater Infrastructure Engineering Intern in Bellevue, WA.

It will be the responsibility of the position to learn and assist with fundamental engineering design and CAD drafting, and to provide high-quality deliverables to DEA's clients.

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete CAD-based utility system map updates and other CAD drafting assignments
  • Perform water and sewer infrastructure system planning and design assignments
  • Research and prepare updates to project specifications
  • Develop quantity take-offs and prepare construction cost estimates
  • Research and support preparation of written technical reports and planning documents

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

  • Applicants must be in pursuit of an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, with at least 2+ years of completed coursework.
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word), AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Revu skills are recommended
  • Physically able to work outside in a variety of weather conditions
  • Ability to communicate and work in a team-oriented environment
