Position SummaryArranges and manages spoken-language and American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter services to support claimant examinations and ensure equitable access to the disability determination process.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify claimant interpretation needs at the time of scheduling and arrange qualified spoken-language or ASL interpreters accordingly.Notify the District within 30 minutes if interpreter services cannot be provided at the scheduled appointment time.Reschedule appointments and/or notify the District when in-person (rather than remote) interpreting is required.Maintain a roster of qualified interpreters across languages commonly encountered in the claimant population.Track interpreter utilization and costs for reporting and invoicing purposes.Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; experience coordinating language access or interpreter services strongly preferred.Knowledge of ADA/Title VI language access requirements.Strong vendor management and scheduling coordination skills.
