Qualifications Bachelors degree or higher. Valid State of Ohio Intervention Specialist K-12 license Mild to Moderate or Moderate to Intensive or PreK-5 Intervention Specialist license. Prior experience with multiple disabilities children preferred. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work in team setting. Outstanding work records and references. Successful BCII and FBI background checks.

The salary schedule begins at $41,600 for a teacher with a bachelors degree and no experience. TCESC teachers work a 184-day contract. TCESC pays 90 percent of a teachers healthcare premium each month. Teachers accrue paid sick leave and also have three personal days per year. TCESC pays for a $50,000 life insurance policy. Funds are available for partial tuition reimbursement. TCESC provides a mentor and a structured program for resident educators.
