Job Requirements.
  • EducationRequirements: Bachelor's-level education with a relevant special education degree and teaching certifications
  • CertificationsRequirements: Teaching certifications for Special Education/Intervention Specialist (Ohio-specific licensure required; confirm state-specific licensure details for Ohio)
  • ExperienceRequirements: Minimum 1 years of intervention specialist experience; strong IEP experience including writing and implementing IEPs; experience supporting students with IEPs both remotely and in-person; classroom teaching experience preferred (noted 11 years classroom teaching experience)

JobResponsibilities:
  • Write, implement, and manage IEPs for students, ensuring alignment with student needs and instructional goals.
  • Plan and deliver specialized instruction and differentiated supports to students receiving special education services.
  • Monitor student progress, provide progress reporting, and adjust interventions as needed based on documented outcomes.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and IEP teams to support student success.
  • Maintain compliance through timely documentation, required reports, and adherence to school/district policies.
