The clinician will manage cath lab volume averaging 3-5 cases per day and inpatient load averaging 5 per day, with occasional clinic responsibilities. STEMI call requires 24-hour coverage for emergency cardiac interventions. Required experience includes ischemic heart disease interventions such as PCI, stent placement, and thrombectomy, valve disease procedures including valvuloplasty and percutaneous repair/replacement, congenital heart abnormalities, balloon angioplasty, and use of cutting/laser devices for plaque removal.
