About the Clinician's WorkdayThe interventional cardiologist will provide comprehensive cardiac care including clinic, inpatient care, and 24-hour call coverage. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic catheterizations, angioplasty, stenting, stress echocardiograms, nuclear stress tests, and reading echocardiograms, Holter monitors, and event monitors. The clinician will conduct transesophageal echocardiograms and cardioversions as clinically indicated. The position requires call coverage from 8am to 8am with weekend call from 8am Friday to 8am Monday in rotation with 2 other providers. Board certification in Interventional Cardiology is required for this assignment.
