Job Summary:
Our interventional and diagnostic cardiology practice seeks an additional physician to join our collaborative team in Blacksburg, Virginia.Qualified candidates:
- Must be board-eligible or board-certified
- Ability to obtain a VA medical license, and DEA license
- Fellowship trained in specialty
- Peripheral skills/interest a plus
- Provide high-quality inpatient care and work collaboratively with other physicians and dedicated patient care teams
- Strong clinical and communication skills, a team mentality, and an enthusiastic and innovative approach
- Ability to practice in high-volume clinic setting

- Emergent PCI 24/7 program with better than average STEMI times
- Recently renovated state-of-the-art cath lab with dedicated experienced staff
- Outreach clinics across the New River Valley expand the footprint of the service line
- Cardiac and vascular rehab services
- Full diagnostic services including angiography, CT, echo
- The practice has two busy interventional cardiologists and two cardiac nurse practitioners
- Opportunity to participate in medical education through hospital residency programs if desired
