Job Summary:

HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist to join their busy and growing practice.

 

Qualified Candidates:

  • Fellowship trained; board eligible or board certified in interventional cardiology
  • Interest in peripheral or complex high-risk PCI 
  • Structural experience a plus
  • Exceptional communication skills and collegial disposition
  • Practice is willing to consider an exceptional fellow

 

Opportunity:

  • HCA employed position with full benefits
  • High earning potential with tremendous community need. Base guarantee allows for time to fully ramp
  • Structural heart program offering TAVR, Watchman, PFO/ASD closure
  • Offering renal denervation in the coming months.
  • Call coverage is 1 in 5 at the main facility and is compensated separately. Option to cover call at a nearby, small sister hospital
  • Comprehensive cardiovascular program including Interventional Radiology, EP, 2 highly skilled cardiothoracic surgeons, dedicated CVICU and Step down / telemetry unit
  • Outpatient cardiac rehabilitation just blocks from the hospital
  • Accredited Primary Stroke Center
  • Tri-County area's first Accredited Chest Pain Center with excellent Door to Balloon times
  • Robust practice averaging 10-15 consults per day with mid-level support and full complement of clinic staff
  • Full complement of dedicated marketing including a community relations liaison to ensure your success and integration into the community
