Healthcare United is seeking a full-time Interventional Pain Management Physician to join an established outpatient pain management practice in Fort Pierce, Florida.

This is a highly interventional, procedure-heavy opportunity for a physician with direct experience treating personal injury and workers’ compensation patients. The physician will maintain a strong procedural schedule while evaluating acute and chronic pain conditions, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing ongoing clinical management.

Candidates must be familiar with the documentation, medical necessity, and care coordination requirements associated with PI and workers’ compensation cases.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a high-volume interventional pain procedure schedule
• Evaluate and manage acute and chronic pain conditions
• Treat personal injury and workers’ compensation patients
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Perform appropriate interventional pain procedures
• Review diagnostic imaging, medical histories, and previous treatment records
• Document objective findings, diagnoses, medical necessity, and patient progress
• Coordinate care with referring providers, case managers, attorneys, and clinical staff when appropriate
• Educate patients regarding procedures, treatment options, and expected outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Pain Medicine or an appropriate related specialty
• Interventional pain management training or experience required
• Personal injury and workers’ compensation experience required
• Active Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain
• Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
• Strong procedural, documentation, and patient-management skills
• No visa sponsorship available
