This Interventional Radiographer opening is based in Kissimmee, FL (minutes from Orlando) at a 404-bed tertiary care, Level II Trauma Center and Joint Commission–accredited teaching hospital affiliated with a college of medicine. The facility operates a Comprehensive Stroke Center, Heart & Vascular Institute, Level II NICU, Pediatric ER, and a Graduate Medical Education Program, reflecting the breadth of complex cases an interventional radiographer will encounter here.

The role. Working within the angiography suite, the interventional radiographer specializes in vascular and neuro-interventional imaging, performing vascular angiographic procedures across a broad clinical range that includes neurological, thoracic, abdominal, genitourinary, gastrointestinal non-vascular, peripheral, and venous access procedures. The position requires applying advanced procedural expertise and imaging technique to support care of critically through acutely ill patients ranging from adults to geriatric populations. Patient acuity and procedural complexity demand both independent clinical judgment and close collaboration with the interventional radiology team throughout each case.

What we're looking for.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology or Radiology Special Procedures (preferred)
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R) required; Cardiovascular (CV) registration preferred
  • Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist license required
  • 1 year of interventional or neuro imaging experience preferred; candidates with strong prior imaging experience in a related modality will be considered
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date

Schedule. Four 10-hour days (7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.; specific days determined at hire), with call coverage required Monday–Friday 5:30 p.m.–7:00 a.m. and Saturday–Sunday 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.

Compensation. $32.50 - $38.00/hr plus Sign on: $10k Relocation Assistance: Case by Case
