Pay Range:

$34.21 - $51.31

A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

HSHS is seeking an Interventional Radiologic Technologist (IR Tech) to join our Interventional Radiology team, working between St. Mary's Hospital and St. Vincent Hospital. Ideal candidates are patient-focused, mission-driven individuals who are comfortable working independently with patients of all ages while utilizing a variety of imaging equipment and systems. Interventional Radiologic Technologists play an essential role in supporting physicians during minimally invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures while delivering safe, high-quality patient care.

New grads encouraged to apply! We are hiring Interventional Radiologic Technologists at Levels Iand II. Placement within the appropriate level and compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and meeting position requirements.

Education Qualifications

  • Associates degree in radiologic technology, allied health, applied science or completion of certificate/training program is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in allied health, applied/radiologic science or related field is preferred.

Experience Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in interventional radiology or special procedures is required.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

  • Licensed Radiographer in the state of practice is required.
  • Certification as a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.
