Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of interventional procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, biopsies, drainages, and more.
- Interpret diagnostic imaging studies and make informed decisions on treatment options.
- Provide education to patients regarding their conditions and treatment options.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to safety protocols
- Supervise IR APP’s
- Preform high-level IR procedures, Clinic Visits for OP procedure referral, consultation and follow up
- Provide IR Consults to Hospitalists and ED physicians
- Provide after hours on call coverage
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, including history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, preferences, and medical history.
- Collaborate closely with healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient encounters, treatment plans, and follow-up recommendations accurately and timely in the electronic health record system.
Education Requirements:
- MD or DO
- BC/BE in specialty
