This position is Monday through Friday, (4) 10-hour shifts per week plus RESTRICTED ON CALL REQUIREMENT.

Responsibilities:
Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the Nursing Process and following all established standards of practice within State and Federal guidelines. The Angio-Specialist will be proficient in patient assessment and be competent in the management of patients Cardiovascular patients, which included the vascular interventional radiology population, before, during and after their procedures. The Angio-Specialist will also be required to take an "on call schedule during non-operational hours of the lab to provide coverage for emergency cases. When assigned the charge role the Angio-Specialist will coordinate the operating schedule and supervise unit activities. In addition, he/she will provide supervision of non-RN personnel.
Qualifications:
1) Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
2) Valid license as Registered Nurse in Connecticut.
3) Maintain minimum of 6 contact hours annually.
4) BCLS, ACLS, preferred PALS
5) 2-3 years'' critical care experience preferred. This includes ER and related procedure experience.
