Join Our Team as an Interventional Radiology Radiology / Cardiology Specialist

What you'll do:
  • Perform a variety of complex peripheral and neurovascular interventional procedures, including stent placements, angioplasties, embolizations, and neuro interventional techniques.
  • Operate advanced Siemens biplane and single-plane c-arm imaging systems across four fully equipped IR rooms.
  • Collaborate closely with a dedicated team of radiologists, nurses, and fellow technologists to execute high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, providing essential services during weekends and after-hours to ensure continuity of patient care.

Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an IR technologist.
  • Proficiency in both peripheral and neurovascular interventions.
  • Ability to scrub and circulate effectively during procedures such as angiograms, nephrograms, drainages, vascular studies, and venous access.
  • Current ARRT certification and BLS certification.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and team collaboration skills.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations in a Level 1 trauma and stroke center.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with neuro interventions including intracranial thrombectomy and stent placements.
  • Familiarity with Level 1 trauma and specialized vascular procedures.
  • Additional certifications or training in advanced interventional techniques.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in interventional radiology settings.
  • Prior experience working in tertiary care or Level 1 trauma centers.

Other Requirements:
  • On-call responsibilities every 3rd or 4th weekend, starting Friday at 17:30 through Monday at 07:00.
  • Ability to work 4 shifts per week, each lasting 10 hours (07:00 - 17:30).
  • Willingness to travel, if applicable, with coverage for licensure, certification, and associated reimbursements.
  • Commitment to maintaining compliance with all applicable health, safety, and certification standards.
