Join Our Team as an Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse Make a Difference in Patient Care
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. Required Skills:
- Valid New York State (NYS) RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in Emergency Room (ER) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- NIHSS certification at the time of submission
- Must have completed at least 6 CEUs on Stroke-related topics prior to start
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
Nice to Have Skills:
- Travel nursing experience
- Additional certifications related to radiology or vascular access
- Experience with interventional procedures and imaging modalities
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree preferred
- Prior experience in interventional radiology, ER, or ICU settings
- Familiarity with stroke care protocols and emergency response
Other Requirements:
- No weekend or on-call responsibilities
- Availability for Monday-Friday shifts, with alternating 8-hour or 10-hour days
- Willingness to travel within the local area is advantageous
- Ability to meet continuing education requirements prior to start date
This position offers competitive pay at $35 per hour, with a weekly per diem of $1246 based on 40 hours. (Local rates available for those within 60 miles of the facility)
