Job Title: Interventional Radiology Tech Job Location: Wellington, FL Job Duration: 2-3 Months (possibility of extension) Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm with call required Job Summary: Responsible for radiological functions for special procedures and other interventional examinations. Assists physicians in interventional procedures and provides diagnostic aid by conducting organ or body scans on patients. Administers and records isotope dosage in accordance with established departmental protocol. Observes patients during procedure and reports abnormal activity. Education: Associate's Degree or equivalent required; completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program. Required Certifications & Licensure: AART required, Current State/District license required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association required. Active American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) license required. Preferred Skills & Experience: Successful completion of a radiological program. 2 years’ experience required. Current state Radiation Quality Standards. Other Requirements: Must live 100 miles away.
