Key Responsibilities
- Assist proceduralists during vascular and neuro-interventional cases.
- Operate floor and ceiling mounted fluoroscopic machines.
- Identify, retrieve, and circulate complex products during procedures.
- Operate power injection devices for iodinated contrast media.
- Maintain sterile techniques and infection prevention measures.
- Contribute to a multidisciplinary team including nurses, radiologists, and vascular surgeons.
- Document in electronic medical records and manage images in Sectra/PACs system.
- Manage groin post-intervention.
- Provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist with NJ radiographic licensure.
- BLS certification from an approved AHS credentialed American Heart Association or equivalent.
- Current licensure with ARRT NJ state.
- Strong communication skills using closed-loop communication.
- Critical thinking skills during neuro-interventional and complex cases.
Schedule
- 3-12 hour shifts or 4-10 hour shifts with on-call duty every 4th weekend and 1 day per week.
