• Shift / Schedule: Day (4x10 Hours), 7:00 AM 5:30 PM

Job Summary

This is an Interventional Radiology Technician travel/contract position at a Short Term Acute Care, Teaching facility. Neuro experience is required. The clinician will float within scope to meet facility needs across all 3 hospitals (Martin North, South, Tradition within 20 miles). Locals are accepted at the same rate, and pending licenses are accepted.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures, with neuro experience required
• Float within scope to meet facility needs across all 3 affiliated hospitals (Martin North, South, Tradition within 20 miles)
• Adhere to on-call requirements: once a week and once every 6 weekends (manager will specify during interview)
• Prioritize time-sensitive onboarding modules upon confirmation of assignment without delay
• Chart using EPIC
• Operate within a Day shift schedule (4x10 Hours), 7:00 AM 5:30 PM

Required Skills

• Neuro experience (required)
• 18 months of interventional radiology experience (required); 2 years preferred
• Ability to float to all 3 hospital campuses within the health system
• Cath/EP experience sought (candidates may be floated based on experience)
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system

Preferred Skills

• 2 years of experience (preferred over minimum 18 months)
• Cath/EP experience
• RCIS certification (preferred in addition to required certifications)

Education Requirements

• ARRT certification Required
• FL State License Required
• AHA ACLS Required
• BLS Required
• RCIS Preferred
• Pending license accepted

Required Experience

• Minimum 18 months of experience in Interventional Radiology required; 2 years preferred
• First-time travelers accepted

• Scrub color: White
• Charting: EPIC
• Parking: Free in any unrestricted space
• On-call required: once a week and once every 6 weekends
• Block schedule: Not available
• Floating required to all 3 hospitals (Martin North, South, Tradition within 20 miles)
• Smoke-free facility: All travelers must be nicotine-free, no exceptions
• COVID-19 vaccination required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only)
• Flu vaccination required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only)

Important Notes

• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours for 3 12 schedule; 40 hours for 8/10 schedule
• RTO Policy: All RTO must be included at the time of submission. Any RTO added later will likely not be approved by the client.
• Onboarding Modules: Traveler must be aware that there are time-sensitive modules that need to be prioritized first once confirmed for an assignment please do not delay.
• Nicotine Screening: Negative 10-Panel Nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required no exceptions.
