    Description

    Job Summary: As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will be a key member of the radiology team, providing essential imaging services that assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using advanced radiographic techniques.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and operate radiologic equipment for complex interventional procedures.
    • Assist physicians during examinations and treatments, providing technical support.
    • Administer contrast media and medications as prescribed by the physician.
    • Monitor patient safety and comfort, and provide instructions to patients during procedures.
    • Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring all documentation is complete and up-to-date.
    • Follow radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patient and staff.
    • Participate in quality assurance measures to maintain high standards of practice.
    • Stay current with advancements in the field through continuing education.

    Qualifications:

    • Associate or bachelors degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
    • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
    • State licensure as required.
    • Experience in interventional radiology preferred.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
