Interventional Radiology Technologist – Travel Job

Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an IR Tech and use your expertise to perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. You’ll be responsible for the operation and quality assurance of film processing, patient monitoring, and x-ray equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

• 1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience required.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required (ARRT-R).
• Graduate from an AMA-approved accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• BLS certification required.
• State radiologic technologist license for North Carolina required.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital environment preferred.
• Experience with Siemens and Canon angiography systems preferred (facility has 1 Siemens single-plane, 2 Siemens bi-plane, and 1 Canon bi-plane).
• Ability to work with adult and pediatric patient populations preferred.
• Good communication skills and a teamwork-oriented attitude preferred.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Hospital.
• Shift Days: Mon - Fri.
• Standard Hours Per Week: 40.
• Department: Radiology - Special Studies (Interventional Radiology).
• Duration: 10 Week travel assignment.
• Orientation: Departmental orientation up to 5 days, facility and departmental tours with introductions.
• Call and Holiday: Call rotation is shared among full time, part time, PRN, and traveler staff; travelers expected to assist with holiday coverage unless pre-approved off.
• Floating: Not required to float to other facilities.
