Interventional Technologist- Angiography (SC, Beaufort)

Under the direction of the Cardiovascular Services Manager and the charge nurse, performs procedures in the angiographic suite and cardiac catheterization lab. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: setting up a sterile field ; assisting physician with diagnostic as well as interventional procedures; completion of all necessary documentation and paperwork pertinent to each case; processing of digital images through the department Imaging Archive System; keeping room clean and clear of clutter; transporting patients; communicating with family, physicians and involved ancillary staff; covering call on a rotating basis including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays. Performs in a manner consistent with the mission, vision and values of Beaufort Memorial Hospital. Understanding that healthcare delivery is continually evolving, and departmental needs and goals are subject to change, responsibilities may be expanded or restricted at the discretion of the Department Director.
