Full-Time Interventionist Teacher The Orange Elementary School District is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Full-Time Interventionist Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The Interventionist Teacher provides targeted academic intervention to students requiring additional support in literacy and/or mathematics. Working collaboratively with classroom teachers, special educators, instructional staff, and administrators, the Interventionist will use assessment data to deliver evidence-based, small-group instruction that accelerates student learning and promotes academic success. Primary Responsibilities: Provide targeted, research-based interventions to individual students and small groups. Utilize assessment data to identify student needs, monitor progress, and adjust instruction accordingly. Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and administrators to support student achievement. Maintain accurate records of student progress and intervention data. Participate in student support meetings, MTSS/RTI meetings, and other collaborative planning opportunities. Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress, as appropriate. Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. Perform other duties as assigned by the Building Principal. Qualifications: Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education licensure as an Elementary Teacher (PreK-2 and/or Grades 1-6) or other appropriate Massachusetts teaching license. Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based literacy and/or mathematics interventions. Experience using student assessment data to inform instruction preferred. Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Experience working with diverse learners is preferred. Position Details: Full-time, school-year position. Eligible for benefits in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Reports directly to the Building Principal and collaborates with the Director of Student Support Services and other instructional staff. SALARY: $46,486 - $50,576 depending on experience and college education
