Position Summary:
Florida Atlantic University is seeking several Intramural Sports Officials - Boca Raton, FL.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Officiate assigned intramural sports in accordance with established rules, policies, and procedures.
- Scorekeep and maintain accurate game records for designated sports.
- Promote a safe and welcoming environment by monitoring the security and well-being of participants, spectators, facilities, and equipment.
- Assist the Sport Programs Supervisor with checking in teams and verifying eligibility.
- Address participant questions, disputes, and minor issues professionally, fairly, and proactively.
- Provide positive customer service and public relations while promoting programs and educating staff and participants on policies and procedures.
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations and assist with evacuations as needed.
- Set up, distribute, monitor, and maintain game equipment and supplies.
- Report facility, equipment, safety, or participant concerns to the Sport Programs Supervisor in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
FAU degree-seeking undergraduate student with a minimum of six credit hours (or twelve if international) and a 2.0 GPA required.
Salary:
$15.00 hourly.
