The Opportunity
CLF Consultants has been awarded the IONM services contract at William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC), El Paso, Texas. We are building a small bench of independent IONM technologists to provide case coverage on a supplemental cadence beginning June 2026.
- Awarded, funded federal contract. Signed, scheduled, performance begins June 2026.
- Supplemental cadence by design. Case volume layers alongside a primary role rather than replacing it.
- Mission alignment. Cases serve soldiers and military families.
Compensation
- $2,000 per case (standard, single-modality)
- $2,250 per case (mid-complexity, intermediate / 2-modality)
- $2,500 per case (complex multimodality, 3+ simultaneous, multilevel spine, vascular)
- $500/month on-call retainer
- Approximately 45 cases per year (3-4 per month)
- Estimated annual: $96,000-$118,500 (cases plus retainer)
Equipment
Contractor-owned. Cadwell Cascade Elite or comparable 32-channel multimodality system. Consumables, calibration, and professional liability ($1M minimum per occurrence) are the contractor's responsibility.
Term
Base Year (June 2026 - May 2027) plus three one-year options through May 2030.
Minimum Qualifications
- Current CNIM certification (ABRET) or ABNM equivalent
- Demonstrated multimodality competency: SSEP, MEP, EMG, EEG, BAER
- 3+ years independent IONM experience including complex spine and neuro cases
- Unrestricted Texas state license (if applicable) or ability to obtain immediately
- Current BLS certification
- Professional liability insurance ($1M minimum per occurrence)
- Contractor-owned 32-channel multimodality IONM system
- Ability to pass government background check and obtain installation access (NACI/NCIC-III)
- HIPAA, AT Level I, and OPSEC training
Preferred Experience
- Prior performance in military (MTF), VA, or other federal medical facilities
- Existing WBAMC credentialing or recent Army credentialing experience
- Multimodality expertise across complex neuro, spine, vascular, and ENT cases
- Track record as a 1099 contractor managing own equipment and business operations
- El Paso-area residence or willingness to commit to recurring on-site presence
