Job Summary Directs the daily workflow and assiststheDepartment Supervisor Manager andor Director. Efficiently and accurately monitors the daily operations of patient and staff workflow to ensure high-quality care.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions • Possessess pecialized depth andor breadth of expertise in own job discipline orfield. • Directs and assistswith the dailyworkflow to include patientflow supply ordering staffing assignments and resolution of customer servicesissues. • Leads the work of the TechnologistsRegistered Nurses and Support staff to ensure compliance with protocols and procedures. • Leads the process in daily operational problem resolution. • Functions at a supervisory level in the absence of the SupervisorManagerDirector of cath lab when requested. • Participatesin supervising training and orienting new team members. • Communicates with the Medical Director to maintain and improve patient procedural operations and development. • Communicates and interacts closelywith the scheduling departmentphysiciansto ensure optimum patientstaff flow and resolve patient care issues. • Maintains a cooperative working environment in the department and reports any personnel inadequacies in skill knowledge or behavior. • Maintainsradiation safety records of personnel. • Maintainsreasonably regular punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies the ADA FMLA and other federal state and local standards. • Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.

Other Related Functions • Practices efficient use and selection ofsupplies and equipment. • Ensuresthat allregulatory standards aremet or exceeded. • Performs Performance Improvement PI initiatives and process flow changes as directed. • Establishes and productively assesses staffing patterns that support excellent customer service. • Maintainsreasonably regular punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies the ADA FMLA and other federal state and local standards. • Assistsin clerical dutiessuch as but notlimited to printing reportsscanning documents and scheduling of patients. • Administersmedical aid asrequired for any emergency. • Maintains cleanliness and organization of department. • Works with vendors and Clinical Engineering to schedule equipment downtime for preventive maintenance and repairs and reports any equipment issues promptly. • May assist with maintaining the departmentstime keeping using Orlando Healths time keeping system. • Performs all other duties as directed as necessary to assure quality customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

EducationTraining • Associates degree required froman accredited school from one of the following o Nursing Cardiovascular Technology Cardiopulmonary Technology Radiologic Technology

LicensureCertification • Must maintain licensurecertificationregistry in the specific specialty. o Current nursing license in the State of Florida renewed every two years or o Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist RCIS renewed every three years or o Certification as a Rad Tech RTR renewed yearly • BLSHealth Care Provider certification required. • ACLS certification required.

Experience Two 2 years of cath lab experience
