Inventor CAD Designer - Remote - Project-Based - DEC25 - 1018

We are seeking an experienced Inventor CAD Designer to support a project-based assignment focused on the design and development of marine propeller components. The role requires strong proficiency in Autodesk Inventor.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D CAD models using Autodesk Inventor

• Develop surfaces and freeform geometry, particularly for propeller blades

• Interpret engineering requirements, sketches, 3D scans , and reference data into detailed CAD designs

• Produce 2D drawings with appropriate dimensions, tolerances, and notes

• Ensure designs are manufacturable

• Support design iterations, reviews, and change requests throughout the project lifecycle

• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and manufacturing teams as required

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a CAD Designer / Mechanical Designer

• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Inventor

• Demonstrated experience with surfacing and complex geometry

• Experience designing marine propellers, turbines, impellers, or similar rotating components

• Solid understanding of mechanical design principles

• Ability to work independently on a project-based assignment

• Strong attention to detail and design accuracy
