Mars Petcare- Inventory Administrative Coordinator- Columbus, OH
Pay: $24.10/hour
This site manufactures petfood
Shift Schedule:
Day Shift: Monday- Friday 7am- 3:30pm (availability to flex when needed for business purposes)
Description of the Role:
Performs the clerical and administrative tasks associated with the shipments and inventory of products including report writing, record keeping, and a variety of other activities to ensure that shipping has support.
What are we looking for?
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma, GED or equivalent education
1+ year of manufacturing or warehousing experience
Must have experience with SAP
Competency in computer and PC software including MS Office (Outlook)
Physical Requirements:
Standing and walking on a concrete
Wearing proper personal protective equipment (safety shoes, freezer coat/gloves and uniform)
Bending, stooping, twisting, turning, standing or sitting for extended time periods, reaching, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 lbs
Must be able to adapt to temperature and environmental extremes such as hot to cold, dust dirt and chemicals
Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of inventory control principles
Experience working with vendors and carriers
Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP and WMS systems such as Red Prairie and Blue Yonder
3+ years of manufacturing or warehousing experience
What will be my Key Responsibilities?
Reconcile on-hand finished goods, commodity, and packaging inventories while troubleshooting and correcting various issues, inventory variances, double transactions, etc.
Perform back flushes of daily production and quantities to maintain accuracy
Liaison with departments by providing vital support to ensure all production and shipping needs are met.
Become the shift expert on SAP, WMS, and Excel and train and provide support in the Logistics Department
Willing to learn forklift
Utilizing site inventory practices to perform necessary cycle counts to ensure physical inventory accuracy
