ABOUT THE JOB
The Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for managing and optimizing inventory levels to support production schedules while minimizing the costs of scrap, excess, and obsolescence. This role will oversee the health of inventory in materials, quality, or production. The candidate will analyze usage trends, lead cycle counting programs, monitor variances, and resolve discrepancies to ensure inventory integrity in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Oversee electronic cycle counts and physical audits to maintain near-perfect record accuracy • Investigate root causes of inventory variances and implement corrective actions on our ERP and WMS systems • Monitor shelf-life sensitive materials and ensure compliance with safety and quality storage regulations via the AS9100 Quality Management System • Generate KPI reports and visual dashboards to track inventory health, aging stock, and transaction records • Collaborate with other manufacturing stakeholders to support operational continuity and efficient forecasting and planning
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
Typically 3-5+ years in inventory control within an aerospace or high-tech manufacturing environment
Proficiency in Oracle and Odoo (highly preferred), advanced Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs), and potentially SQL for data mining
Familiarity with AS9100 standards and Defense Federal Acquisitions Regulation Supplement (DFARS) regulations for the management of government property
Managing parts with unique serial numbers or traceability requirements where a single error can halt production
Identifying inefficiencies in material flow and driving Lean or Six Sigma initiatives to improve them
Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities
