We are seeking an Inventory Analyst to join our growing team supporting a large government program. The Inventory Analyst supports inventory accuracy and traceability within a warehouse-managed, serialized production facility. This role uses SAP (MM/WM) to track serialized materials, ensure accurate inventory transactions, and support production and warehouse operations. The position is ideal for candidates starting a career in supply chain or inventory management, particularly in environments requiring strict traceability and inventory control. The role does require being on-site every day in our new Production facility in Frederick, MD. US citizenship is required along with the ability to obtain a US Gov't Public Trust Clearance.
Your tasks
- Monitor and validate inventory transactions in SAP for serialized materials
- Ensure accurate tracking of serial numbers throughout receiving, storage, production, and shipping
- Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories, including serial number verification
- Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies related to serialized and non-serialized stock
- Maintain accurate material master, serial number, and storage location data in SAP
- Support production and warehouse movements (goods receipts, transfers, issues) in SAP
- Generate inventory and serialization reports (stock status, aging, variances)
- Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to resolve inventory and traceability issues
- Support compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and serialization standards
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and serialization processes
- Manage production order material backfilling process, working with production and warehouse teams
- Inventory accuracy (including serial number accuracy) - Cycle count and serialization variance
- SAP data accuracy and transaction timeliness
- Compliance with serialization and traceability requirements

Your qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, or production support roles
- Some SAP or other ERP/WMS systems experience required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage serialized data accurately
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Willingness to work in both office and warehouse/production environments
- In order to be considered, candidates must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a US Government Public Trust Clearance. Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a serialized or regulated production environment
- Familiarity with barcode scanning, serial number tracking, or traceability systems
- Knowledge of SAP serialization functionality
- Experience in manufacturing, electronics facilities, or similar

The total compensation for this position is $27-$36/hour. Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by several factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, sales incentive structure and job-related skills.
